“In 2020, I began to study international Tourism and Hotel Management in Nanyang Institute of Management. So far, I do not regret my choice and I am very happy that I can study in Nanyang. The courses Nanyang offers are very rich and helpful for the future. Lecturers tend to be discussion-based, which develops students’ ability to think independently and the courage to share ideas with students from different backgrounds. Instructors and student Services are always available to help you with your studies. The language of instruction is English, which is a challenge for Chinese students. However, class is a good language environment, as long as you keep communicating in English, your English can improve quickly in your study. Another thing I want to mention is making friends in Nanyang. In school, I could meet students from different countries, and their kindness gave me great courage to communicate with them actively. Therefore, language and nationality are not barriers to making friends. Finally, I would like to thank Nanyang again for giving me the opportunity to study in Nanyang.”
