Hone Presentation and Writing Skills
Practice presentations to sharpen your oral communication skills enabling you to fluently express yourself in English.
6-Month Programme
Complete 4 modules within 6 Months and upgrade to our Advanced Diploma programmes.
Personalise levels of English proficiency
Students are required to take an english placement test to identify their english proficiency.
Grasp Academic English
Understand reading and writing skills necessary for academic programmes and converse fluently in English.
DELIVERY ASSESSMENTS & AWARDS
Delivery
This course is wholly delivered in Singapore. Students will have access to local lecturers and resources provided by Nanyang Institute of Management.
There will be a combination of lectures, tutorials, workshops, seminars and presentations. Students may also be given additional work to complete outside of scheduled classes. Resources and materials provided for students will include lecture notes and references for further reading in books, publication, articles and websites.
Assessment
Assessment for modules comprises coursework, tutorials, tests and written examinations. The coursework may include tests, presentation, practical assignments and/or tutorial participation.
Award
Upon passing the Certificate in General English, a student will be awarded the Nanyang Institute of Management Certificate in General English.
