As a premier local private education provider, Nanyang Institute of Management (NIM) has always strived to provide industry-relevant curriculum infused with quality teaching from our academic team.
By encompassing NIM’s holistic education framework, we inculcate our students with our Mission and Values, which is driven by NIM’s four pillars of excellence Academic, Teaching-Learning, Student Support and Learning Management, and Use of Tools and Technologies.

Our core values define our actions – nurturing students in the hope of building a desired student-centric culture; where academic staff focus on all activities on the student’s learning needs; and with students being central to the management of key activities at NIM.
NIM’s approach to teaching-learning excellence is to maximize the transfer of the teaching-learning processes through its course formal. This is done by consciously adopting an “Active” Teaching-Learning methodology with the inclusion of more actual cases, multi-platform delivery modes, and multi-faceted approaches experiential, personalization and adaptive. These enhance the “Active” Teaching-Learning processes and hence achieve a holistic “nurturing the whole person” view – such as social responsibilities and leadership just to name a few. To support the aforementioned, NIM is further enhancing -learning platforms and upgrading our operations by utilizing the latest and most secure systems in keeping with the times. Nanyang Institute of Management is committed to providing teaching, learning and research that enhance the skills, knowledge and capabilities of our students and stakeholders; emphasizing industry relevance and a spirit of innovation; and fostering an intellectual environment with an international orientation.
Our Service Guarantee to students:
- NIM upholds a high service standard.
- NIM’s lecturers/teachers/tutors are selected qualified professionals in their field.
- NIM average lecturer to student ratio is 1 to 30 (this varies with courses and the mode of delivery to maximise learning outcomes).
- NIM offers students adequate facilities and support services to foster a conducive and pleasant learning experience.
- NIM accepts students if they possess the required qualification/s and language proficiency as stipulated in the signed standard student contracts.
- NIM will stand by our signed standard student contract agreement.
As part of the Private Education Act in Singapore; Nanyang Institute of Management (NIM) is required to be registered with the Committee for Private Education (CPE). This demonstrates that NIM has fulfilled the necessary academic and corporate governance as stipulated by the CPE under the Private Education Act.
In addition, there are quality, process and procedure assurance required by CPE under the Edutrust Certification. Institutions that enroll foreign students must be Edutrust certified. NIM has attained the 4-years Edutrust Certification.
